About GMWA

Greenville Water Authority (GWA) was originally incorporated as a Pennsylvania Municipal Authority by the Borough of Greenville in 1942. From 1942 to 2026, GWA is proud to have provided continuous and reliable water service to its customers in the Borough of Greenville, Hempfield Township and West Salem Township. In March of 2026 the water authority sold its operations to Aqua Pennsylvania Inc.

While the authority is no longer involved in the operation or delivery of potable water, it still exists. Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Borough building located at 125 Main street, Greenville, Pa 16125.
